Reach forklift driver / warehouse operative
As a Planning Engineer you will be responsible for preparing and monitoring documents to provide
control of time related aspects of contracts, this will include preparing programmes in appropriate
format in liaison with Engineers and advising management/ QS's of likely financial
implications to time related matters.
You will be responsible for assessing/ allocating resources associated with the programmes
and liaise/ negotiate with the main contractor and sub-contractors to establish working
programme documents.
Job Spec - Purpose: Ensure the delivery of the maintenance plan on a daily basis and raise and despatch reactive work to appropriate technicians within a geographic area.
Accountabilities - Responsible for ensuring the daily delivery of planned maintenance work, ensuring
that emergency defective maintenance work is incorporated successfully into the maintenance plan. Responding to changing resource levels due to stand down time and sickness and adjusting the
plan to reflect the change. Raise emergency work orders phoned through from the Clients Service
Centre, using the Prioritisation Matrix with input from the initiator to determine the priority of the work order. Ensure defect Priority 1-3 work is scheduled and completed on a timely basis. In all instances where a P1 work order has been raised the dispatcher will call the individual to verify the individual can commit to completing the defect work.
Reassign work as necessary to accommodate any changes in resource level and also reactive work .
Skills
It is desirable that candidates will have the following experience, knowledge and skills required
o Accuracy
o Ability to liase at all levels
o Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
o Good telephone skills
o Logical approach to problem solving
o Knowledge of Civils, Fabric or M&E Maintenance
o Knowledge of appropriate IT systems / packages (Maximo/Sage/Concept)
Salary £20,000 - £25,000PA depending on experience
