Principle Personnel has been supplying drivers to the driving industry for many years. We have seen many changes in the industry from legislation to the skills drivers need, and have adapted our strategy and updated accordingly.
Clients now expect more from their employees and agencies, within in a very fast and pressurised environment, coping with critical deadlines and increased competition.
We know all our client's needs are different, so rather than just send any skilled driver to you, we endeavor to find someone who meets your needs. This does not only apply to driving skills, but interpersonal skills - after-all, Why send a Tipper driver if you need someone to do home deliveries?
Every candidate we employ, from a van driver to an HGV Class 1 Driver, has to go through the same in depth interview. We undertake to do license checks, skills assessment, CRB (if needed), and as well as filling out an extensive application form that is reference checked. If, and only if, they meet our high criteria, we will then pass them through for employment.
NO WORK HISTORY OR REFERENCES THEN NO WORK.
We will encourage new passes, but only if our clients confirm that they will be accepted.
All licenses must be issued by the DVLA - we do not accept foreign licenses irrespective of rights to work in this country. All new HGV drivers must have a digital tacho and must also be prepared to obtain their CPC as per the new legislation when required.
